Malawian Wordsworth Rashid contacted us in 2011 with the hope of connecting BPF to Malawian schools. Wordsworth is now a full-time coach manager for BPF Malawi, working with a growing team of staff to deliver year-round youth sports activities. We’ve constructed a community centre on a 7-acre site in rural Mtema, 25 km from Lilongwe.
We’ve supported rugby-for-development activities in Arusha and Dar es Salaam and, alongside partner organisations, we’ve helped to build confidence in vulnerable children living on the streets of Moshi. We’re now assisting the local team to register a local NGO.
Meet the children and learn about the special people 'playing their part in the Pride', making BPF's projects a success. Could it be you?
