Malawian Wordsworth Rashid contacted us in 2011 with the hope of connecting BPF to Malawian schools. Wordsworth is now a full-time program coordinator for BPF Malawi, leading a year-round youth sports program. We’ve constructed a community centre on a 7-acre site, 25 km from Lilongwe, in the heart of rural Mtema.
We’ve supported rugby-for-development activities in Arusha and Dar es Salaam and, alongside partner organisations, we’ve helped to build confidence in vulnerable children living on the streets of Moshi. We’re now focusing our efforts on assisting the strategic and operational development of our registered NGO, BPF Tanzania.
Meet the children and learn about the special people 'playing their part in the Pride', making BPF's projects a success. Could it be you?
