Chanel talks rugby in Nairobi

Young player Chanel discusses her experiences of rugby and what she learns from the sport

Chanel Mogo, 12, is a pupil at Thika Road Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya. She’s been playing rugby for about 2 years. Chanel tells us, with a smile, that the first time she played rugby, she got a black eye! But she wasn’t deterred – she came back for more. Chanel says she was not a natural sports participant, but was encouraged to join in and now loves it.
