Linet Wahome
Kenyan coach Linet Wahome discusses how Shamas collaborates with Bhubesi Pride Foundation and what she learnt and shared as a volunteer on our expedition
Linet has a diploma in web design and is a coach with Shamas Rugby Foundation in Nairobi, Kenya. She has a Level 1 coaching qualification. Linet works directly with Bhubesi Pride Foundation when its volunteers coach in Nairobi in January and February. Linet was nominated to apply to join an expedition leg in Uganda in 2018 and was awarded a Bill McLaren Foundation bursary to take part. Linet enjoys showing children that an African woman can play rugby and still be a woman.
