Ndizotrekker Malawi with Richard

Immersive learning adventure & fundraising trek in Malawi with BPF’s founder & Lilongwe team

Adventure with purpose

The Pride is calling you

In 2011, Bhubesi Pride Foundation (BPF) began with a simple question: Could rugby be a vehicle for good in Africa? What followed was a continent-wide movement that mobilised volunteers, community leaders and corporate teams, contributing more than 100,000 pro-bono hours and engaging thousands of young people through rugby, life skills and leadership.

Today, BPF’s long-term commitment is centred in Malawi, where a team of local staff and coaches delivers sport and education programs with more than 3,000 young people every year.

Join our Ndizotrekker Malawi host…

Join BPF founder Richard Bennett who, for starters, will bring to life the meaning of “Ndizotrekker“… Here’s an intro:

  • It’s a play on Chichewa and English words: “Ndizotheka” means to “make it happen” or to “go for it”… So by joining BPF on this trip, you’ll be a Malawi “trekker” who makes it happen!
  • Also… inspired by BPF’s journey in Malawi, Richard will encourage Ndizotrekker team members to think about the process and power of making anything happen!

Why join us?

  • BE WILD – Heading to Malawi with BPF presents a unique opportunity to “get out there” and learn new things in a completely unique environment. Share experiences with fellow team members and return home with fresh perspectives.
  • ADVOCATE – Malawi’s one of the world’s poorest countries where young people and communities face complex social challenges. But BPF is breaking boundaries and empowering local Malawians to fulfil their potential. Join us to help get “eyes on” the great work BPF is doing and raise much-needed funds for the NGO’s youth sport and education programs.
  • TREK – Africa is a heartland for adventure. After your time with inspirational rural community members in Lilongwe, you’ll head north to the highlands and trek along forest paths to Lake Malawi – a proper challenge to truly make your trip count, for you and as you build new bonds with those around you.
