Warm Hearts – Harlequins visit Malawi

As part of our International Partnerships Program – alongside Lesotho Rugby Academy and Future Hope in India – Bhubesi Pride Foundation recently hosted a group of 11 Harlequins Rugby academy players, two members of staff from the Harlequins Foundation and Lesotho Rugby Academy’s country director.

During the visit, the group explored parts of urban and rural Lilongwe, coached with players at a rugby club just outside town, interacted with children and teachers at two schools (including one for young people with special needs), met community members and program participants in their village homes, took part in craft exercises with a Malawian social enterprise and co-led a youth festival day – attended by Acting High Commissioner for the British High Commission in Malawi, Rebecca Fabrizi.
